Hey everyone. School is finally out and summer vacation has begun! If you haven’t made any plans for the long vacation, you should think about stopping by Save Point for hours of fun! Plans in the works include summer events and tournaments, contests, and everyones favorite: lock ins!
Our first lock in for summer break will be May 15th for the launch of the highly anticipated dungeon crawler Diablo III! The cost is $15 ($10 if you already have a day pass) and runs until noon on the 15th! Until the servers go live, we will have mini-events including speedruns through Act 1, as well as Diablo Trivia. Reserve your spot today, as space is limited!
We will also be having tournaments and events over the summer. People have been itching for a Halo event, so that is in the works. We also love our fighting games, and will be hosting another batch of battles. With so many fighters released recently, from Skull Girls to Street Fighter x Tekken, we are having a difficult time deciding on what to host! If you have a favorite fighter and would like to see it played here, post on the forums and we will do our best to make it happen!
Of course, we also have our wonderful PC gamers. With the recent release of Super Monday Night Combat, we will be having an event every Monday for prizes! Along with SMNC, we will be hosting another League of Legends event. Everyone enjoyed our last one with all the mini-events, so we are going to plan another evening of LoL that everyone can enjoy!
