Welcome back students! We hope you had a great summer, but now it’s back to the books. Make sure to take a break at Save Point so you don’t go crazy!

Thank you everyone who made it out to the all nighter this past weekend. About half the people made it thought the entire evening, and everyone had a great time. The store was packed all day, and many mini events were held throughout the evening. From LoL and Smash Bros, to Starcraft II and Persona 4, every kind of game was played. The in house banter was loud and exciting, just the way we like it here everyday at Save Point. We would also like to apologize to those who we had to turn away, even with signing up on Facebook. There were a lot more people than we expected and we didn’t plan accordingly. The next time we have an all nighter, (early October hint hint), those that didn’t get in will have a reserved spot. We will also be doing a pre-signup sheet as well, so you can prepay for the event and secure a spot.

Best of luck to all of you this semester! Be prepared for weekly Smash Bros, as well as tournaments and other events throughout the school year.

That’s right, we have a Super Nintendo hooked up and ready to play all your old favorites. From Mario Kart, Super Mario World and All-Stars, to other favorites like Killer Instinct, Street Fighter II, Turbo, and more! Get ready to game out to some of the best video games of the 16-bit era!

That’s right, we will be closed on the 4th of July for festivities! Don’t worry though, for we will be open again Thursday. We hope everyone has a great time!

Hi everyone! We hope you are having a great summer! E3 has provided us with a pretty good idea of what will be spectacular games coming out in the following months. Until then, we will update you on some of the games we have recently added to Save Point.

First is Maple Story. This classic online free-to-play game is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. From the colorful sprite graphics to the music and sound, Maple Story is a game for all ages which provides hours of entertainment.

Bastion is another great game which we have added to our list. You take on the role of “The Kid”, traversing through beautiful landscapes to recover magical shards of rock to restore Bastion to it’s former glory. The voice over narration is superb and provides dynamic storytelling to the world of Bastion.

Finally, Digimon Masters Online is quickly becoming popular too. Save the Digi-world using your Digimon, and catch dozens of different Digimon to add to your collection. This is a game Digimon fans don’t want to miss!

Summer is finally here! School is out, and the fun begins! Starting today, our hourly rates are reduced to give you more gaming for your dollar. Members can enjoy $3/hr rates, while our guests can play for $5/hr. This offer will only be good for the summer, so take advantage while it lasts!

Since the gates of hell have been unleashed May 15th, we have seen some valorous heroes emerge to take on the hordes. Already, we are seeing champions at Save Point reach the highest levels and taking on the vilest of foes.
